There is a planned theatre outing for Sunday 16 August. The play is Secret Garden which is based on Burnett’s novel about a young orphan who discovers the joys of life after finding a long-abandoned garden.
It is performed by local Beaumaris Theatre company, 82 Wells Rd. Time: 2pm. Cost: $32 (concession). Tickets can be booked online through their website:
