Instead of a speaker today we were treated to a footy quiz compiled by Steve McColl.
Mike Simmons was the adjudicator and Faye the scorer. He asked members to put their hand up if they knew the answer but of course we couldn’t help ourselves and yelled out the answer anyway.
Prizes were awarded to the highest 2 scorers who were – June Ferguson and June Forbes, one of our visitors.
Additional prizes were awarded to the members who got into the spirit of the day and wore their favourite team colours. These were awarded to – Nola Ambry, Pat Farrelly and Lyn Mather.
