On Thursday 6th October 42 of our members enjoyed a sausage sizzle at 216 Bay Road Sandringham courtesy of an invitation from our President Jim Tomlinson who resides in the complex. Jim had a few early helpers who organised the tables and chairs and Joan even had tablecloths on the tables, it was a lovely surprise Joan thank you.
It was a great turnout and everybody who attended had a terrific night. There was much hilarity and of course interaction with our fellow members.
Many thanks to the men who did the cooking (in the rain, I noticed our Vice President Mike was a bit soaked) and the ladies who organised salads and slices to have with our coffee.
We will have another sausage sizzle at a later date as it was such a success.
