As Christmas fast approaches I must once again remind members that our annual lunch is nearly upon us. I urge members to ensure they have registered and paid by our November meeting.
October saw a very pleasant day travelling by V Line to Geelong and the Archibald exhibition followed by lunch at la Porchetta.
This was followed by Jim and Joan’s barbeque and for once it didn’t rain. We thank Jim and Joan for their hospitality and effort in making the night such a success. Also to the ladies who prepared the salads and sweets, as well as the guys who did the cooking. A special mention to Bill who had the job of cutting up the onions. To all members who attended ,thank you for helping to make this a most enjoyable night.
Then the Werribee Zoo trip. Once again another great day with twenty nine attending.
This month we look forward to a trip to the Cranbourne gardens and hopefully by then the warm weather will have returned.
Just make sure you have registered for these events to help where bookings are required. I also ask members to advise conveners as soon as possible in the event that you are unable to attend .
